Mini Art Symposium with Dr Alex Monteith & Dr Sarah Munroe

At the beginning of the year in 2010, D.A.N.C.E. art club and some close friends spent the day with Dr Alex Monteith & Dr Sarah Munroe at their home in Muriwai. The art symposiums format was relaxed with shared food and conversation about art collectives. In 2009 all four members had graduated with undergraduate and masters degrees and were starting the year looking for what came next. We were lucky to draw upon Alex’s experiences with art collective Local Time and receive advice and guidance from both artists from their extensive art practices.
